Last night was the best sleep I’ve had in a couple of weeks. Hope I can carry it thru tonight as well.

Fucking A, i have slept beautifully the last 6 nights.

I am back in Minnesota and couldn't be happier. I can't believe i lived at 8,000' elevation for so goddamn long. I become miserable and sick because of it.

Im home, baby!

My 3 year had a nightmare in the middle of the night and didn't go back to bed for over an hour.

Why the fuck is it daylight well before 5am? This needs to be fixed.

Also, I will not miss the skylight just outside our bedroom, and my wife insisting we keep our bedroom door open so we can hear our kid.

Every house/apartment we’ve been in since we got married has had the master bedroom on the fucking East side of the building. It blows.

Yeah we have a patio door facing east in our master, which has had effective blackout curtains over it for years. We were just too cheap to ever get a shade to cover the skylight - should’ve done it years ago.

Korean food didn’t sit well, high wind gusts pounding the sixteenth floor bedroom window all night, and the kid ending up in bed with us made for a less than ideal slumber.

Let's nap
We had to go out to look for a fridge. Kid was patient for that, so the wife offered to take her to Kmart around the corner for a toy. What I wasn’t told was there’s a fucking IKEA in the same shopping center - well played wife. Got out of there after 4pm, thought it was like 2pm. No nap. :(
