Re: The All-Inclusive Kamala Harris thread
Everyone list the top 3 things you are looking forward to under a Harris presidency.
And your answer cannot contain “first female president” because while yes, that is historic and would be a monumental achievement, it doesn’t count for this question.

Eminem is still rapping? It's time for him to step down and let a younger generation lead the way.

I guess I’m stupid? I have an uncle that the only communication he does any more is group emails to multiple family members making very sexist and very racist “political” “jokes”. I’m not smart enough to have good perspective i guess because i blocked his emails. Just no need to deal with that.tragabigzanda wrote:I think it’s fine to block, say, a coworker or one of your kids’ classmates parents. But family? Shit is stupid. Seriously, this newfound instinct to block out anything or anyone that doesn’t align with one’s worldview is so messed up. And I get the need for self-preservation; it’s a tough balance to strike. I can’t imagine any scenario where I’d block family members, not unless they committed fraud or a crime against our family maybe.

I didn’t want to miss the other emails which were updates about his daughter (my cousin) who recently died of cancer in her 40’s.
