if plagueis and palpatine created anakin they would have created him like they did loads of other things..in a test tube, destined to die. youve seen those test tubes in multiple series now.
they neither of them had anything to do with 'creating' anakin, pal.

theyre not rewriting the entire saga just cos you saw a thing on youtube. how has all the millions of other youtube theorists theories worked out since they kicked off in 2015?
not one. not even one.

lol dime why do you get so worked up over someone’s theory? That’s literally what we’re doing in all of the SW threads.

Sorry dime I didnt mean to upset you . I was always of the belief that's how Anakin was created but I cant confirm an original source.

The Grand Experiment was conceived by the Sith Lord Darth Plagueis's desire to create a life form by gaining control of the midi-chlorians, the sentient microscopic organisms that enabled certain beings to wield the power of the Force. Not only did the Dark Lord deem the project a failure, his efforts ultimately backfired and caused the midi-chlorians to create Anakin Skywalker, the prophesied Chosen One of Jedi legend who was destined to restore balance to the Force by destroying the Sith.

How was Anakin created Dime if u dont mind me asking.

The bolded quote above is from Legends. It isn't canon.

hardly worked up..just hate that whole bullshit 'theory'/rage bait 'industry'.
they set all these complete bullshit theories up, knowing its bullshit, and then, get months of rage bait out of it when it doesnt happen and 'disney ruining star wars again!'
in an endless cycle. Surprised anyone still even pays attention to it.

To be clear, my favorite unconfirmed theory in Star Wars is that Plagueis and/or Palpatine created Anakin. I hope that it is officially canon someday. But it's always one step forward, two steps back with that theory over at the home office, it seems.

It's not that wild, dime. George explicitly stated it an early draft of Revenge of the Sith. Obviously, he took that out and it's not explicit in the movie anymore. But it's where even George's head was at one point.

I'd buy into it, especially if they are going the route of "Plagueis found out it is possible when he discovered Osha and Mei were created that way"

I think we're going to find out that Anakin's mom had a lesbian relationship, and on her planet, two females can have a baby. Then you're all going to feel stupid for making assumptions just b/c Shmi said there was no father. Why do we always assume that biology works the same way in a galaxy far, far away?

I have assumed this ever since RotS, and I honestly thought it was just accepted as fact. The dynamic of the throne room sequence in return of the Jedi is three generations of men breaking a cycle…the idealist facing temptation, the paternal figure corrupted by the system, and the grandparent generation that created or at least represents the corruption. Palpatine’s space opera conversation just kind of dots the i on the whole thing.

If season two of this show happens, I assume we will learn that Darth P secretly influenced or made possible the creation of the twins and brought about this whole mess. They’ll probably show that he was clouding the Jedi’s thoughts during the witch thing, and is the reason Sol killed the mom. And then you’ll get a temporary Sol force ghost or some shit. He (or maybe all of the Jedi from that day) will come back at the season climax, do a redemptive thing, and then have a touching goodbye before dissipating forever. And then people on the internet can be like “oh wow this is why Palpatine created Anakin…he’s trying to succeed where Darth P failed.”

I also assume that the stranger gets killed at the climax of the show, after having murdered his Sith master in his sleep, only for us to have a moment at the very end of season two where we see that the stranger succeeded in transferring his consciousness into a new body. The implication ultimately being that the stranger is Palatine, because that’s the dumbest thing I can think of.

I'm down with all of that except the Sol force ghost bit. It's established that Qui-Gon is the first Jedi to do that. The Internet will kill us all if that's changed.

This page is a wonderful reminder of how stupid this franchise is.

Let's base a show on midichlorians! It'll be great!

Thanks epilogue.

Anyway I doubt we will get season 2 to find out lbh.

I cant see how they can justify this series getting a season 2 when Obi wan and Boba Fett couldnt.
