How did you pull that off? I haven't seen any info about refunds and would also like to bail on this trip.

I had gotten my hopes up for Jack White to be the replacement.
Sting is not a terrible choice though. His festival setlist looks pretty good.
I'm still going Friday & Saturday.

He played shows 2 of the nights we were in Athens. We couldn’t get tix, but his sets included quite a bit of cool Police tunes.

Damn. I logged in to Ohana account, followed the contact us links, filled out the form on front gate tickets asking for a refund, and got an auto-reply :
Thank you for contacting Front Gate Tickets.

Unfortunately, all sales are final and we are unable to assist with a refund at this time. If you have questions or concerns, please contact Ohana Festival directly at info@ohanafest.com. Be sure to include your order number in your inquiry, along with any other pertinent information.
I really would love a refund, not only was I mostly going for Neil, my buddy who I was going with also bailed on me after I bought us both tickets.

not disappointed with this pick, even if it isn’t the most exciting to me. it’s someone i probably wouldn’t see outside of a festival or multi-artist setting and obviously has a great catalog of music. i saw the police at bonnaroo like 15 years ago and it was fun even if it felt mostly paint-by-numbers. plus, there’s at least an established relationship with pearl jam to some extent, as the band have played his songs and he’s played with them. that’s all cool to me.

Keep bothering them. I peppered them with a bunch of emails and finally got through, minus like $65 in fees they kept.

I was able to get a refund biggest I did the layaway plan and had only made two of the scheduled payments at this point.

I wouldn't mind seeing sting, but I'm cancelling for other reasons.

You know ticket prices are high when you need a layaway plan to pay them off.

Sting rules, you dolts. Saw him in 96 and he was great. I also appreciated how he came out for Driven to Tears at MSG in 16, crushed it, and fucked off, unlike Uncle Neil, who came out in Toledo in 04 and sent Ed to the side for the entire encore. Fuck Neil Young.

Yeah, they told me that it's different for layaway vs paying up front for some reason, so still not cooperating. I'm trying to sell my tickets, but there seems to be no way around selling them for way less than I paid. Sucks.

Sting sat two rows in front of me at MSG in 2016

the whole show this guy with a hoodie on

he must have heard my annoying analysis commentary the whole show

then suddenly the encore came and the guy was gone, and it was him on stage

Lame. I wanted to see Garbage.

Really the only other Friday act that jumps out to me is Dogstar.

PJ better play at least 25 songs.
