The NIN account just posted a “Tron: Aries” logo on Instagram, with a date of October 10, 2025. Interesting that they say “NIN” and not “Reznor/Ross,” which suggests there will be vocals.

I don't know if that means vocals. Plenty of instrumental NIN in the last decade or so.

Has Ross worked on NIN stuff in the past? Was he uncredited? Of course it's possible that they're burned out on working together constantly.

Well, the trailer features a remix of "Something I Can Never Have". Not sure how much of the soundtrack will be new material.

Also, Jared Leto is starring. Sucks to be a Leto hater!

Has Ross worked on NIN stuff in the past? Was he uncredited? Of course it's possible that they're burned out on working together constantly.

I think Ross is on NIN every release in some capacity going back to With Teeth, and has been credited as a full band member since around the time of Hesitation Marks or so. At this point they feel a bit like a Jagger/Richards or a John/Taupin.

I love their soundtrack work. Challengers is still being played in heavy rotation here.

First 'album' I listened to today and still really enjoy it. I actually chose soundtracks all day for the playlist but realized I have a lot of holes to fill in regard to Reznor's work.

Their latest - Queer - is terrific, just like almost all of their scores. Highly recommended.
