Invincible, Try, In the Dark, and Mrs Mills were my top standouts
I'd swap out Invincible for Fallout Today.

The opposite of Can't Keep would be Can't Yeet.

so ive avoided dark matter since the week it came out and decided its best never to listen to it again.

but i went to the dentist today, and after the initial conversation there was a few silent minutes when he started setting up the equipment etc. dark matter (song) came on his little FM radio. i was trapped in the chair, it was a cruel joke..

(also i have to get all my wisdom teeth out apparently)

Are there any PJ recordings that are known to have been sped up by the producer in the way that Del Shannon’s “Runaway” was, or were recorded at a slower speed to sound faster when played back at normal speed the way George Martin’s piano solo on “In My Life” was?

The 20’s could go down as Pearl Jam’s second best decade.

its so happily loose and easy. In contrast to Evs original version on the uke, which is loaded and has an intensity in the playing. youd imagine it was gonna be one of Pjs big battle songs almost. But they made it into that contemplative space they rarely go to..

and they picked it as an album opener :) the balls on these guys :)

Dissident
Indifference
Whipping
Corduroy*

that is a very interesting list with some surprising moments

my ‘at some point’ top 10 included (I think)

Even Flow
Alive
Porch
State of Love And Trust

Yellow Ledbetter
Rearview Mirror
Elderly Woman
Indifference
Last Exit
Corduroy
Betterman
Satan’s Bed
Immortality
Do the Evolution
Life Wasted
World Wide Suicide
Dance of the Clairvoyants
Waiting For Stevie

not sure which two would round out my top ten or if something else would sneak in

Do people actively keep a list of their Top 10 songs? I'm not asking to jest, I'm genuinely curious.

I don’t, but I have more than once used the phrase “top ten song,” and I was probably unintentionally exaggerating at least half of the time.

I think I’ve posted a list of my top 10 Pj songs to this site and I’ve used the song ranker a couple times but that’s about it. It wasn’t that difficult to remember back throughout the years. When I started listening to the band, Ten was the only album so by default 10 of the 11 songs on it instantly became top ten. I worked it out from there chronologically.

Nope. Just memory from using the song ranker
