I like all of them. Dime is right, tho. 2 and 3 are unnecessary.
Let me tell you, Homer Simpson is cock of nothing!

Oh for sure. The OG is just about perfect. 2 and 3 are superfluous, I guess, but they are each enjoyable in their own way. I haven't actually watched 3 in a really long time. But my memory is that it's a ton of fun and a nice twist on the old formula that offered a lot more than 2, which was really just the first one but more annoying and tedious.wease wrote:I like all of them. Part 3 is wonderful. How could anyone not like that one. And I love how balls to the wall messy Part 2 is.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

There was something off about the way the movie depicted violence and abuse. It wasn’t shown as slapstick like the first one but it also wasn’t shown as something awful to be avoided. It was like it was routine. Very unusual even for 80s moviesepilogue wrote:Oh for sure. The OG is just about perfect. 2 and 3 are superfluous, I guess, but they are each enjoyable in their own way. What 80s movies don't show abuse as routine?Bi_3 wrote:There was something off about the way the movie depicted violence and abuse. Furiosa
...absolutely ruled. I didn't know Hemsworth was such a solid actor. The pacing was a little strange at times and the CGI had loads of jank, but I still loved it.

BTTF II is great just for the hilarious and inventive depictions of what the future may be like. And you still have MJF and Chris Lloyd banging around. Who cares about anything else.

I'm not trying to trap you. I'm not being snarky. I genuinely don't know what you mean and would love some examples so that I can understand your point. Maybe I agree. Maybe I don't. But as per usual with your posts, I have no idea.Bi_3 wrote:epilogue wrote:What 80s movies don't show abuse as routine?Bi_3 wrote:There was something off about the way the movie depicted violence and abuse.
