Gonna be in chicago next month for a few days, anyone have recs for a hotel in in the general vicinity of Wrigley

There’s an expensive one across the street, but otherwise aren’t many. Hotel Versey Days Inn is probably your best bet.

lol we were at Jimmy’s yesterday, not sure if it’s the same one you are talking about. This one was a rooftop bar. We ended up in a basement British pub with a bartender from the Bronx named Melody who definitely wasn’t British but could definitely hold her own in an English pub. i think at some point my other travel threads got merged into this travel thread and brought with it my irreverent poll

it's fantastic

everyone just wants to stuff their vacation down other people's throats

give space for people to do their own thing, people

it is ok for people to go places and do different things and feel differently about the things they do

I’m not trying to be difficult, but I don’t understand how a 5-minute Uber is fine, but a 15-minute Uber is a deal breaker.

If what I want to do is up in lake shore/wrigleyville, why would I stay down in like the loop area? It’d be one thing if there were no decent hotels in that general area but there are, so…?

you have more options than Lakeview and the Loop. But honestly, it doesn’t matter.
