S8 being inferior but not bad is a fact

It's actually the opposite of true.

I know this ain’t the book thread, but fwiw, I just started a re-read of the books with the optimistic thought that maybe 2025 will be the year for TWOW.

I know we've been over it a million times, but this.

if you didn't see her being insane in the first place, its on you. They dropped several hints every single season..

did you miss the bit where she went on a crusade as the big redeemer and saviour of the down trodden and scourge of all slave masters??

and the of course turned into one

I think it goes a little deeper than that. We excused all of the insane and deceitful things she said/did because she was doing them to people we deemed as bad people.

Hey it’s also kind of wild to call someone “insane” when the inciting incidents for her character arc were her being abused, sold, and raped. She ain’t right for burning King’s Landing but it’s all connected.

personally think she was right to burn kings landing but she shouldve kept that to the Red Keep. Melt the whole thing and start again. Then she could be the true deliverance and redeemer and saviour.

GOT aint know for happy endings though.

Isn't that really one of the most subversive elements of the story?

Was looking at the IMDB page for Moana 2 today and saw that one of the child voice actors in it is named Khaleesi. And so it begins.

The Game of Thrones Facebook account posting "This Winter, Spring is Coming" in promotion/reference to The Knight of the Seven Kingdoms TV show, is maybe the most extreme/terrible epic troll of all time. Jesus.
