What an odd set on paper. But the band and crowd seemed to really feed off each other moreso than past shows at the same venue.

WASH included a lyric adlibbed about "this is the first song we play (in indy)" which alludes to their 92 indy show supporting RHCP and Smashing Pumpkins.

LIGHTNING BOLT was dedicated to a couple attending their 57th show. Sweet and all, but if you like PJ so much to see them 57 times, why the fuck would LB be a request?? Last song on their live bingo card?

BABA was a nice surprise. Mike was on FIRE all night. He often went into his Mike Zone where he seems as if pulled by strings from every direction.

PRESENT TENSE was requested by a kiddo (who also asked for Eds wine and tambo).

The VITALOGY tease was weird but fun. Then a 3 song DM tease.

No GIGATON ): but you get what you get at PJ. Several times Ed complimented the crowd and got almost choked up a couple times.

And the best part- the songs were played at the correct speed/tempo.
Turns out PISS BREAK is worth holding it in if played right.

Good, weird, off-kilter PJ show. See yall Saturday at Wrigley!

I keep wondering if new visualizer stage background is what is limiting diversity and inclusion in the sets.

Great show.
LB sounded off, out of tune or something
