Last night was my first GA of the modern era. It’s a completely different perspective than even the first few rows of seats. Not crowded or full of pushy people at all and we were so close you could only watch one band member at a time. It definitely made me focus on Ed more than normal and his back and forth with the crowd. It’s less robotic and rehearsed than it seems from the seats. I’ve never noticed how active Josh is on stage. Never idle, filming when not playing. I’m back in GA tomorrow night so hopefully the good vibes keep going.

Last night the lights were on the last 3 or 4 songs I think because of what was going on in the first few "rows" in GA. Ed had someone escorted off because of how gonzoed he looked and was acting. Ed asked him what day it was and the guy said "show day" . That cracked me up
Man, when they did a camera shot of what the band sees in those first few rows. Idk, to me it looked pretty scary.

So there wasn't a big rush to get in and secure a spot right in front of the stage ? It wasn't squished at all?Bi_3 wrote:Last night was my first GA of the modern era. I wasn’t there when doors opened but we ended up like six feet from where the stage pokes out, a little in front of that kid on his dad’s shoulders that ed called out. Maybe 100 people were in the GA section when we showed up around 6:20. It was completely fine on Stones side the whole night though I guess you would expect mikes side to be more aggressiveknee tunes wrote:So there wasn't a big rush to get in and secure a spot right in front of the stage ? josh was pretty aggressive on his assorted triangles and inaudible guitar
no one sits in a back corner on stage and rocks out while making no tangible impact on the broader musical piece quite like him
he enjoys it though
good to have hobbies
