That’s a great run.
Now that I think of it, 2004 was a great concert year. The Interpol Antics tour alone was worth the price of admission (pretty sure Secret Machines opened for them).

Sick. Secret Machines were underrated. If I had to choose an Interpol tour, obviously Turn on the Bright Lights would be first, followed by Our Love to Admire. Antics would be third though. Good shit, homie.
All jokes aside, the GA section was a war really, i was soooo happy with me being on a suite balcony, sitting there with my coke and my food like an old guy watching that from above

were you also sporting a big foam no. 1 finger
I got hamburgers, freedom fries, coke, chicken wings. It was my closest as living a live show as an US citizen.
Ben Folds’ paper airplane request show was awesome.
Great banter, great concept, really impressed by the whole thing and how he manages to pull it off.
Warren Haynes last night at the Ryman. Goddamn what a great show. That was every bit as good or even better than the two PJ shows I saw a month or so back. Can’t stop thinking about it.
Let me tell you, Homer Simpson is cock of nothing!

I'm kicking myself that I didn't take the plunge on Sturgill Simpson tickets at Rupp a few weeks ago. I literally just started to listen to him and he put on what sounds like a barn burner. No opener, no intermission, 3.5 hour set.
My last concert was Pearl Jam in Lexington in 2016. Wait, I forgot about seeing Ralph Stanley. But that was in 2012 so I guess my last concert was indeed 2016.
the billie eilish show last night was fantastic. i was blown away about how well her new songs (especially some of quieter ones) translated live. first, she had a full band (as opposed to Fineas and a drummer) playing on either side of the middle stage, and it added so much depth to her songs. second, she played most of the songs in their entirety (which the exception of a couple where she cut off a verse (I'm looking at you NDA)), which was better than in 2022 where she did that A LOT and turned them into medleys (which was understandable given that she was touring two albums at the time).
the standouts were Guess, The Greatest, and when the party's over (she recorded and then looped her vocals like ed did with arc during the riot act tour -- it was pretty awesome)
