Eh, I guess I'll give it a shot. I actually haven't read any Batman for a bit.
I actually enjoyed the first issue. I am always weary of any Superman inclusion but there really wasn't much at all other than setting a scene. I've also always enjoyed Catwoman as a character also.

Might just add it to the list but an interesting idea.
Just finished the Wolvie book, I like to intersperse the big books with others. I feel I enjoyed the Marvel Comics Presents inclusions most, they have such a small portion of an issue to deal with that I find they may prove more poignant perhaps? Enjoyed the whole thing but that stuck out a bit.
Also recently finished the first volume of Something Epic and absolutely adored it. The art is tremendous and the story is still fluttering about in my head, first comic I bought for someone else in ages.
Are they retelling his story? Im in the mood for some X Men stuff.
Ah, I meant finished Omnibus v2 but I may start the above before v3. The blurb about Life of Wolverine is:
LOGAN'S LIFE STORY - IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER FOR THE FIRST TIME! WOLVERINE has been mindwiped, manipulated and given false memories so many times, what is the truth of his long life? Now, as a journey into his own past becomes paramount to the survival of mutantkind, delve into the TRUE story of LOGAN's life, from his earliest days in the late 1800s, to the many wars he's fought alongside comrades like CAPTAIN AMERICA and SABRETOOTH, to the WEAPON X procedures that changed his life forever, his days on the X-MEN and more! All IN CONTINUITY, this includes some adventures and links to the past never before revealed, giving the most complete picture of WOLVERINE's history EVER ASSEMBLED! In print for the first time!
I am enjoying the Wolverine Omnibus v03 but even that I read an issue or two intermittently with comics I'm more geared toward. The superhero stuff hasn't really been too high on my list for a while now. The occasional Batman collection or the current Gaslight sequel is pretty much it.
That said, read two new ongoing series that recently started yesterday Damaged People and Hello Darkness. Enjoyed both, the art of the former was fantastic and looking to start Something is Killing the Children soon.
The new Brubaker/Phillips book is fucking amazing. Houses of the Unholy. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. These two are the premiere team in comics right now. These OGNs they’ve been doing for the past year or so are just fantastic. And that’s to take nothing away from the Reckless series or Criminal or anything. If you guys aren’t reading their stuff, you’re doing yourselves a massive disservice.

Right up my ally, both the art and writing were fantastic
About eight issues in to Something is Killing the Children and really digging it so far... which is an odd statement all laid out like that.
