Big fan of his work. Sad to hear of his passing. Has cause of death been revealed? 52 is pretty young.

Most illustrators don't have long lifespans, unfortunately for me.

I’ve been trying to find affordable English copies of it for a couple of years now. I’ve seen sample pages from it and other work by Alberto Breccia and it just looks phenomenal.

that one was Oesterheld and Solano Lopez. Breccia is another master but he wasnt involved.

The Eternaut is a must really, specially if you are from Argentina. Its about the dictatorship of the 70s here basically, disguised as a sci fi story.
Sadly the assassins we had in our government at the time took Oesterheld and disappeared him. They also killed his four daughters.

Breccia wasn’t Mort Cinder? Everything I’ve seen says he did it.

Finished Satellite Sam last night. Definitely took a while to get to a rolling boil but thankfully it got there.

I've passed over 30 Days of Night for I don't know how long, will start that tonight.

The collected deluxe edition includes Dark Days, Return to Barrow and the 2004 Annual as well. I got through Dark Days last night and may have enjoyed it more than the initial series.

Been on the list for ages though I wanted to get to the source material first so it should be bumped up in the queue.

So what is it? I haven’t been able to figure it out. Is it a reprint?

Yes, it is a reprint of The Long Halloween Special with a cover Sale had in his vault but it is a lead-in to the ten issue series.
