Looks like Iran is about to do something. They’re broadcasting the national anthem on their tv channels and all sorts of macho bullshit imagery on their socials. Mostly missles taking flight ‘get ready’ and ‘leave now’ stuff.

How do you come to understand the full picture so well, while the rest of us are mostly in the dark being so reliant on the heavily edited media?

Because you start with "who has less relative power" instead of "who benefits"

Yea but in this case the relatively less powerful were occupied for 38 years, and Israel continues to slowly annex the West Bank to this day. Also, the Palestinians have been recognized as having the right to self determination for a long time now, but do not have that.

I feel like the very pro-Israel arguments do not take into account the glaringly obvious things - like settlements, check points, blockades and such that prevent peace. Netanyahu and plenty of Israeli governments officials have made clear they have no intention of changing any of that. Do Palestinians benefit from any of this? People who want conflict benefit, and I don’t know why anyone thinks only Hamas wants that.

If you believe that. Far more likely they like everyone else, either died in a bombing run or were shot on sight by IDF. But they had been dead for some time according to reports here.
