Agreed.

I might like it most of the trilogy, personally. I was really surprised by how good it was.

AQPD1
AQP (which I do love, especially as it's the most horror of the three, it's just slightly duller than the others for me; a 3 for 3 franchise so far

I *never* say this but I would quite like them to continue with one-shot slice of life stories set in the same universe; Monster Of The Week films, if you will; reveal small details of the overarching mythology with each film, but otherwise just make them glimpses of humans living and struggling; Day One kind of reminded me of an anime movie in that sense, more than War of The Worlds, and that makes me happy

I would love to watch the war movie installment. Follow a squad of troops through a day. Kind of Blackhawk Down but, you know, whispering.
