The original singer in Blue Oyster Cult was awful. Elektra singed them because they thought he was going to be the nest Jim Morrison. Then Elektra dropped them after they recorded a debut album with their roadie as the new singer. Then they singed to Columbia and that roadie went on to be one of my favorite singers ever.
