I don't love Blood and I do like Gigaton and never got to hear much of it live, but yeah, it was still really cool hearing Blood knowing they don't really play it anymore.
So right before they played Tremor Christ in Baltimore, Ed pointed out the sign being held up by a Hematologist requesting Blood. He said "we aren't going to play that but here's another one we don't play very often."

I'm guessing that guy made it to the Boston show. I guess in order to have Get Right played, I need to go to back to back shows so Ed sees my sign for it one night, then plays at the next show.
And possibly become a hematologist, maybe that was the clincher

Though not curious enough to look on YouTube, I am curious about how blood came out. That is one of a handful that I've thought should be retired as I have perceived they can't pull it off any more (Ed can't)

It was a brave choice to tackle the song in its original key too:

It’s great for the crowd to reach into the catalog like that. Smile, Grievance, In hiding would crush tomorrow night. But I assume they’ll play safe and we get Falling Slowly and like Comeback, Crown, or Sirens.

How bad were you expecting it to be? Because it's pretty bad.

I would've been psyched to be there. I appreciate Ed knew it was not the greatest based on his comment at the end.

They could totally slow down Blood and make it into a Tom Waits-esque song, but instead they do this...

poor Ed

he wanted it, but just wasnt there

surprising how Matt of all people seems to struggle with this song's transitions too

would think he would be better than that

love the look on stone's face in the beginning of the 2nd verse tho as he is chugging along on that riff

that was a near trainwreck. classic matt rushing yet another song by not pausing long enough during the rests, just get the song over as quickly as possible.

I guess the good news is it is no worse (and maybe better) than they sounded the last time they played it six years ago
