Two part response, one not a joke, one a sort of joke;

1. What are the headphones for?

2. In Baltimore when they stopped during Alive because someone went down, apparently Josh was big curious about this, he came out from the side of the stage, I turned my head and saw him standing about 5 feet away from me. I guess he was sufficiently satisfied, since he scurried backstage.

I guess to hear himself? Maybe he doesn't like in-ears

Im honestly kind of shocked reading about what happened now that he ACTUALLY killed somebody while texting and driving? Its kind of...disappointing that eddie wouldn't care about that? Im surprised to hear that he hasn't wanted to cut ties or something or that he still talks about him so lovingly? It's just weird, you'd think that's the kind of thing Eddie would be upset about

he probably hasn’t had a fresh kill in a while and saw an opportunity to finish the job

but then backed off when he realized there were too many witnesses and people already helping to carry the man away

he's worth his spot on stage for singing with EV alone. he obviously adds percussive parts. he does the vocal loop at the end of DOTC, i'm not sure if there's anything else in the catalouge he's done that for? he plays guitar on 'something special' which he helped write, i dunno what else he plays guitar on.

i wish he played some sort of brass instrument. i wanna see him back there with a giant saxophone doing weird shit to quiet songs.

That's a good idea. He needs practice at honking his horn.

I regret that I have to inform you that Jason Isbell has his own Kringlehoffer on tour with him. While he doesn't wear a stupid beanie or comically oversized headphones, he is back there in the same spot at the back left of the stage acting suspicious. He had a drum set, a guitar, and also sang backup on some songs.

Way too many character assassinations of Klinghoffer focus on the Beanie/Headphones combo, and not enough on the 80s Parachute pants that suggest he's about to get a breakdancing solo the next time there's a breakdown in Corduroy.

Maybe that's why he hides behind a speaker - so we can't see those pants
