Hard disagree, but agree in certain circumstances? I love Formulas Fatal to the Flesh but even Tucker's best material wasn't as good as Altars through Domination. But then again, I'd much rather take anything Tucker including Heretic over that goddamn terrible Illud Divinidum whatever reunion album from 2011, that shit was inexcusably awful. In 2024 I'd probably rather see David Vincent and Pete Sandoval's Morbid Angel stand-in project live over Morbid Angel again though, Trey is beyond fried.

The only MA albums I care about are Gateways to Annihilation and Kingdoms Disdained. I don’t like David Vincent’s voice at all, especially now that he’s ruining Blasphemer’s music in Vltimas.

Genesis

I like a real specific era of Genesis. Like 80-83. Not that I dislike what came before and to a certain extent after but I think its their ideal iteration.

I think I'm with you. I know it's cooler to rattle off some Gabriel led Genesis tunes, but I like that spot when they were making hits but not pure 80's cheese yet. Maybe like late 70's / early 80's. I do like some of the Peter Gabriel materiel, but overall it's just not my thing.
