Re: The Cure
their new songs are their best since Wish, for sure, they are really good live
just need to know if the album will have a good mix, like the good old days
lets hope so

Sure. As long as "Maybe Someday" & "End Of The World" get a free pass from this 30 year gap.bart wrote:very excited despite not really liking anything they have done in 30 years

Re: The Cure
"Burn"
Half of Wild Mood Swings
"Wrong Number"
A handful of Bloodflowers tracks
"Cut Here" (one of their best songs)
Even if you don't like their last 2 albums (and I do, for the most part) they've made some good stuff in the last 30 years
The new songs they've been playing live are promising. Fingers crossed!

Re: The Cure
There's a snippet of Alone available now:
https://www.reddit.com/r/TheCure/commen ... _we_goooo/
I think this album will unfortunately have the same handbrake as everything they've done in the last 30 years: Jason's drumming.
Imagine Robbo picked someone else (or convinced Boris to stay) back in 1994, what a different world.

Burn is obviously great (and has Boris on drums - tick).
There are tons of good songs on Wild Mood Swings and it's assorted b-sides (some of which even have other drummers playing on them).
