I’m in bed and about to go to sleep. My wife next to me has been quietly asleep for an hour. She just did that thing where she took a deep breath mainly through her nose out of nowhere and then continued to quietly sleep. My kids do it. My dog does it, too. I assume all mammals do. I love it. Irrationally.

Along with this, I love when dogs "sleep run" while laying down. Adorable!daft twat wrote:I’m in bed and about to go to sleep. My wife next to me has been quietly asleep for an hour. For the first time in a long while, probably since I joined it, I didn’t receive one happy birthday wish via Facebook. Kinda the goal, right?

Thanks, but no it’s fine. On my birthday, I remember it’s my birthday for about five total minutes. After this many, the less attention brought to it, the better.
And update… I looked at my settings and appeared to hide my birthday on Facebook at some point in the past year. Perhaps some weird vanity, or an experiment to confirm that without Facebook telling people, hardly anyone in your life will remember your birthday haha.

Also, Facebook's core user base is rapidly dying off

What this has revealed to me is more people are still on the platform and checking it then you’d think. Maybe just not actively posting there though.Jorge wrote:Also, Facebook's core user base is rapidly dying off

I logged on recently after a long absence and found a bunch of likes and comments; I'd forgotten my Instagram was posting automatically to FB

A couple weeks ago I started seeing reels featuring this Marcus guy
I'm not sure I understand what it's all about (they seem to be in some VR roleplay environment) but I love him
