It's funny how often RMers call me feisty on days when I'm just being playful and silly.
RMers don't care how you *actually* feel, just how you come across!
Don't I know it!
But that's all we can know
Until you're informed otherwise.

Disintegration is one hell of a record.

This should also be one to become familiar with should it not already be.

I think their two proper singles compilations are the best place to start:

- Standing on a Beach, covering 1978 to 1985
- Galore, covering 1987 to 1997.
Spoiler: show
Forget Disintegration, go listen to The Top.

As an avid enjoyer of Elliott Smith for many years I am predictably giving the new Christian Lee Huston record a lot of air time.

The new Shovels & Rope album is fine. Nothing too exciting, honestly. Maybe it'll grow on me.

But the new Bright Eyes is solid. Nowhere near top tier. But still very surprising and enjoyable.

I checked out David Gilmour new album "Luck and Strange" before heading off to see him in Rome the other night. The album is nice enough, good for background for sure, but the song his daughter Romany Gilmour, sings, Between Two Ponts, is excellent. This was beautifully done at the concert.

Free boops today.

nice. the singles i've heard sound like War On Drugs, and I'm not mad about it.

It's out on streaming here (Australia) so I'm sure it will be available elsewhere in the next 12-24 hours.

The new Smile record is today's soundtrack. I think I prefer the non-singles to the singles.
