Theyre not doing anything. Meanwhile Israel gathering troops for a ground invasion into Lebanon (backed up by US troops)

we passed the point of 'Israel has a right to defend itself' about 10 months ago.
What will the Lebanese army do if Israel invades the south? Will they help Hezbollah, or let them (Israel and Hezbollah) fight each other? I'm sure they won't support Israel.

a response to that. Everything hes saying is a fact.
is he wrong?

This is actually an excellent example of how people like Hasan think. The first thirty seconds is used to conflate Hezbollah and Lebanon, as if an attack on Hezbollah is indistinguishable from an attack on the Lebanese people. This way he plants the idea that Israel has always been at war with Eurasia Lebanon and the current conflict is an extension of that. It is not. Israel is not at war with Lebanon and has repeatedly and clearly stated so, they are at war with Hezbollah, a non-state actor that occupies land in southern Lebanon. The Lebanese government recognizes this and that's why there have not been retaliatory strikes from them on Israel. They want Hezbollah gone just as much as Israel does. But for people like Hasan, that is a forbidden thought, so he is forced to bounce back and forth between contradictory ideas like "Hamas does not represent the hearts and minds of the people of Gaza" and "The actions of Hamas are resistance to end the occupation of Gaza". Hasan, and many others, validate the human shield strategy through this by saying the attacks on Israel are 'resistance' and the responses by Israel are 'genocide'. The rest of video is more of the same. Hasan acknowledges that Hezbollah initiated the current conflict, but again couches that as just under the guise of resistance. He ignores that there was stability. That missiles were not being shot back and forth across the northern Israeli border. He ignores that Lebanon and Israel had just extended a maritime peace treaty in the previous months further cementing a peaceful future between them. For people like Hasan the idea that peaceful coexistence is preferable to "resistance" simply cannot be allowed to be considered because then what does that make him.

This is key to understanding how people get confused on this topic. The Arab nation of 1948 are not the Arab nations of today. The Arab nations of the early 2000s are not the Arab nations of today. Today they see that peace is possible. That cooperation is more beneficial than perpetual war. Lebanon was not fighting Israel over that land. Syria was not fighting Israel over that land. They know violence will not solve it. They know there regional peace and prosperity and the safety of their citizens is more important. Only Hezbollah is fighting over it because peace is the antithesis of Hezbollah's stated goals and people like Hasan are just the useful idiots who hop onboard with it and parrot that shit back so they never have to consider the idea that they themselves are the barriers to peace.

That scumbag cunt Netenyahu just slithered into the UN main chamber to give his speech.

There was a mass walk out. He’s talking to a nearly empty room.

Good. Fuck the evil cunt.

Don’t believe what you see. Israel is not at war with Lebanon and Lebanon is cool with Israel doing what it takes to rid them of Hezbollah. Scroll up, there’s a long explainer.

Then if Mexico really wants to get those nasty cartel folks, and some intel says they have houses in Brooklyn, well, just fire away. Just blow some blocks up.

South Lebanon is a state within a state though and it seems Hezbollah do a better job of governance and the ordinary day to day stuff than the actual Lebanese government.
And lets not forget Hezbollah an invention of and reaction to Israels invasion in the first place. Israel lost that one too.
