Help me become a baseball fan

Post by Jorge »

I've always found baseball intriguing, even though I've never lived in a country where it's a popular sport. Something about the culture around it, the history of it, the aesthetic, has always seemed very appealing to me. However, I don't actually know anything about the sport. I don't know how it's played, I don't know the rules, I don't know the price of a hot dog. I don't have any local friends who are into it, and honestly I don't know where to start.

Help me out, RM. I'd like to become a fan by the start of the next season. I know that together we can make this happen.

I dont know where Argo or Lenny stands on this but I think an old worn baseball smells better than a used library book..

The postseason starts in a couple days, so your timing is impeccable as it’s the best baseball. Immerse yourself in the games if you can, soak up the drama, and we’ll answer your gameplay questions along the way. There is only one October.

It's a big undertaking. Where should he start? He's probably too old to spend hours after school throwing a ball against the side of a barn and pretending he's on the Yankees so I'm kind of at a loss about where he should begin

We didn’t all grow up wanting to play for the Yankees, pal.
