I was idling in my car in a long line to leave a high school football game on Saturday in traffic that was pretty much a disaster. And in my thoughts I hearkened back to the most efficient and courteous venue-emptying line I have ever participated in: the line to exit PJ20 in Alpine Valley. The zipper merge was unblemished and we emptied that lot of thousands of cars in mere minutes.
