my wife is finally retiring in April and we're probably coming back for 3-4 months..I really miss it but I enjoy 10am NFL kickoffs much better..I do miss Gray's Papaya badly though...epilogue wrote:Come back to NYC!doug rr wrote:I cant either, Joe..I have a bag packed at all times..I just want to stay home and watch football for 4 monthsepilogue wrote:I can't keep up with your travels, dougdoug rr wrote:not there yet..in Seattle but going back to LA on Sunday for a month...somebody shoot meepilogue wrote:Grocery stores in Canada provide haircuts?doug rr wrote:went grocery shopping and got a fancy haircut

Fair enough all around. I do miss early football, too. Having a team that's awesome is great in so many ways, but I do miss even the 1pm kick-off. A 10am kick-off would be heaven!doug rr wrote:my wife is finally retiring in April and we're probably coming back for 3-4 months..I really miss it but I enjoy 10am NFL kickoffs much better..I do miss Gray's Papaya badly though...epilogue wrote:Come back to NYC!doug rr wrote:I cant either, Joe..I have a bag packed at all times..I just want to stay home and watch football for 4 monthsepilogue wrote:I can't keep up with your travels, dougdoug rr wrote:not there yet..in Seattle but going back to LA on Sunday for a month...somebody shoot meepilogue wrote:Grocery stores in Canada provide haircuts?doug rr wrote:went grocery shopping and got a fancy haircut
It's especially tough now that we're in the WNBA playoffs and there's always a game on Sunday afternoon! But I feel like a dick complaining. My teams are doing really well and I don't want to take that for granted or complain. But I feel where you're coming from.

Re: Talk about your day thread
Yeah, I'll tell you... as someone who only watched American Football (NFL) for most of his life, having spent the last decade getting into International Football (soccer) and more recently WNBA basketball... it's almost impossible to watch an NFL game anymore. It takes FOREVER and I hate it.

ill bring you to see the hurling next time youre here. Fastest (and oldest) ball game in the world.. its pure battle and skill. Its magical. Youll love it
if folks in the US got eyes on it it would be an overnight sensation. Its mental
