If you level up the zonai outfit to the max and go in with plenty of meals to restore you, it’s doable and yields a lot of items to upgrade other outfits. But you have to be good at the parry and counterstrike or it will take forever

Yeah, the first time I didn't have near enough health and swords/bows.

Reviews are up. Happy to see this is about a 30 hour spinoff if you want to find it all and do it all.

Yeah I'm looking forward to playing it. Probably won't get to it until next week though.

I'm about halfway through the Link's Awakening remake, so I feel like I need a break between that and this new one. Good to hear you're enjoying it.

I mean, as long as you go into it know it is nothing like BotW or TotK, there is no disconnect. Think of it like playing Super Mario Odyssey then playing Super Mario Wonder next.

So basically if you encounter an enemy or whatever you can use their powers to beat others and solve puzzles?

I'd figure you'd have to pause constantly n switch between a ridiculously long list of powers n im not sure that's for me

I loved the old ones they put out on nintendo online n pausing n switching between weapons was the only thing that annoyed me

Yea, more or less. The Echoes are on the quick menu (hold right on the d pad and scroll). For the most part, you'll use a dozen or so Echoes regularly and ignore the other hundred+.

Yeah this. Water cube, trampoline, crate, wolfos, and some flying enemy echo are all you need for most of the game. There are a few specialized ones but it isn't all of the time.

Those plus:
Bed
Bush
Boulder
Table
Spider
Mole
Bombfish
Water Slime (acts like a water balloon)
Ignato (lights torches)
Crow (for added rupees)
The baddie that rolls around

I also use Darknut or a Moblin as my fighter.
