thats a big statement. im not sure i could live without the years long expectation and then excitement and then finally sitting down in a theater and seein a long time ago, in a galaxy galaxy far far away

and the explosion of joy comes after
That's what I'm saying. Keep the live action stuff in theaters. But make the TV shows animated.
I only want stuff from Phantom Menace to maybe a little after RotJ. No sequels. Give me more live action stuff from the clone wars and the rebellion. That stuff is ripe for great stories. Remember the live action young Ahsoka flashback with Anakin? THAT! Andor. Saw Guerrera stuff. Ventriss, Darth Maul after his first death, Dooku. They could do some cool shit. After the Acolyte disaster, I'm not interested in any of that anymore except maybe Palpatine as an apprentice. Obi wan/Satine, Kaliss and Zeb. Hell I'd watch a show that was entirely droids if it was Chopper running around murdering Imperial droids.

You could have a series where each episode is a little side mission.
Remember when TV wasn't a 2 hour movie stretched to 8 hours?
episodic.
they did that with amndalorian remember, and everyone loved it for a while. then they really didnt.
I'd say most people rank the Mandalorian seasons better specifically in the order of how episodic they are.
Except for Joey. There's no knowing what they heck he'll do.
what we need is a Luke (and Ben?) episode of the week series where theyre travelling the galaxy looking for jedi temples and artefacts.
id watch that live action animated or whatever way you wanna bring it.
Just catching up and assuming this was addressed on the next page but how could this be possible? Would take a lot of script dancing to make it happen as Luke talks about Ben Kenobi as some distant memory figure of his.

Would love to see Palps as an apprentice. I thought that is where the Acolyte should have headed towards but....

Ben Solo, strat. His nephew. Son of Leia and Han. Not ben kenobi.

It’s not bad at all.
Vader is more menacing in this version.
When obi-wan is burnt and Vader could end him in episode 3. A trooper asks Vader shall we pursue and he replies “no” and walks off which makes more sense.
They cut the hell out of the Leia kidnapping chase scene.
And the opening scene was the young Jedi finding Obi-Wan which made more sense.
