I must have dreamed it was you. I didn’t think you were big into the fantasy genre so I’m not sure my mind was stuck on this

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I’m a huge fan already. Loved The Power Broker and The Path to Power. Working and Means of Ascent were also very good. Highly recommend the documentary about him and his editor called Turn Every Page if you haven’t seen it.

Haven’t seen the doc, but NPR replayed an interview with him when the doc came out. I could listen to him talk for hours. Did he read any of his audiobooks I wonder?
The only one he’s read was Working, which is part of why I listened to that one instead of reading it. Very enjoyable.

Audiobook. Couldn't get more than a third of the way into it because the voice narrator was truly terrible. One of the worst I've heard.

I read a bunch of his books in high school. It’s been a long, long time but I liked them then.

Those are the only two I’ve read, but it’s been a long time.
