Ah, ok. I just didn’t want to spoil anything—I think I did have some of the same feelings, and by the end of the season some were cleaned up. Some weren’t. Again, I'm still liking it. A lot. But the quality this season is fairly depressed from the first three.

That's what I was hoping for. The show is so good, I figured I'd be totally on board by the end of the season.

I sure do like Coe now after that finale. Hope he's in next season.

Coe's three big moments in the finale were all worth the wait.

Yes, I did see Coe in that. I guess I am hoping he's in it more. I imagine he will be given what happened in the finale (trying not to spoil anything)Simple Torture wrote:Coe's three big moments in the finale were all worth the wait.

Good, as always, but it’s getting repetitive. And it just kind of petered out at the end.

Officially renewed for Season 6, will become the longest-running show in Apple TV’s (short) history.

Good season (though my least favorite so far). Loved the penultimate episode, loved the finale. Most of my criticisms still hold but still excited for S5.
Based on trailers, I'm so glad that

So did River’s dad sire all those on his team with River’s mom or did we misunderstand that exchange?

There was some dialogue along the way that there were a bunch of women at the compound, so presumably they’re River’s half-brothers.wease wrote:Agreed.epilogue wrote:Good season (though my least favorite so far). Gotcha. River’s question about his mom being a breeder had us confused.Simple Torture wrote:There was some dialogue along the way that there were a bunch of women at the compound, so presumably they’re River’s half-brothers.wease wrote:Agreed.epilogue wrote:Good season (though my least favorite so far). Does this show get noticeably better after S1? I thought it was just okay.

Re: TV: Slow Horses (Apple TV+)
Finally sat down to start reading the first book last night. The show seems to have followed the first few chapters exactly (down to a lot of dialogue), but the descriptions and interior monologues add quite a bit. Really liking it so far, probably will continue the series, and will have to decide at some point if I want to overtake the TV series. Leaning towards no.

Binged season 2 and 3 in the last week. Jackson Lamb has worked himself into the iconic tv characters list, in my mind. I’d like this show to continue for a decade. What a treat!

One ep left in season 4. I’m not ready to be without Jackson Lamb until next fall.
