liked it a lot. Rutger Hauer is wonderful. My god, what a presence. Beautiful framing and photography. Its kind of funny to see all the awful choices the character of Thomas Howell does.

There’s a US 4K coming out for like $25 (and you can also get the UK standard edition for $30)

Not trying to be Mr hot take here but my opinion of this one has gone down significantly over the years. This one and part 2 don’t really even try to not look like they’re set in greater Los Angeles, which completely undercuts the atmosphere. And I know the lack of blood is a selling point for a lot of critics but I find the deaths really undercooked. I do like it and admire a lot about it but I’d usually rather watch parts 3-5 and Halloween ‘17. Maybe even a highlight reel of Kills.

I haven't seen them enough to rank them. I really enjoy the original and plan on watching 2 and 3 this week. I've never seen the Zombie ones, but I don't think I'd like them.

Probably my most controversial opinion is that I like Halloween Kills. The fight with the firefighters is awesome and I agree with everyone that the townspeople are super annoying, but that just makes it more gratifying when Michael kills them all.

The Devil’s Rejects (a truly perfect work of art)
Halloween II
The Lords of Salem
3 from Hell
Halloween

31
House of 1000 Corpses
The Munsters
The Haunted World of El Superbeasto

2-4 are a total toss up and could swap around depending on when you ask me. I love them all so, so much.

Really liked Smile 2. Really good set pieces and good acting by Naomi Scott.

Mads was also a very fun french zombie movie made in one single take.
