In really weird news, my hometown highschool did a mock election, and the students chose Trump/Vance. This is an historically deep-blue city in a deep-blue state.

In other news, someone from the DNC was apparently at one of our local county Dems meetings and said to someone I know, off mic, that they believe Trump is going to win.

A republican county committeeman in the county I live in (a predominantly right-leaning county), is trying to get a temporary restraining order to stop the early voting because vote watchers or challengers were wrongly being kept from observing inside polling places.

The election director for the county, a republican, states this isn't the case, and it's not relevant since no vote counting is occurring yet; just people voting early. Counting starts on election day.
