We waited in line at the county tax/assessor building for about 45 minutes. Was lovely.

I didnt vote for judges as we just recently moved back to the area so didnt want to cast an uneducated vote.

Are these regular criminal/ civil judges or those weird Texas-esque County Judges?

Ugh judicial elections.

My ballot was 76 pages of which roughly 72 were judges (each page only had one race.) I voted 50/50 R/D split in hopes of judicial gridlock.

I believe there is voting at lots of synagogues

I had an econ professor that said he did that every election. Split ticket all the way down, every time, every category (not just judges).

It's the best way I can think to honor my civic duty but also limit government without explicitly supporting republicans or democrats. Lord knows the Rs and Ds won't do it.

If limiting is the goal, it's a damn fine strategy.

I hate early voting. Election Day shouldn’t be like tax day. I like the symbolism of the nation going to the polls together. But we don’t do anything together anymore, which is absolutely a factor in why the country is in the state it’s in.

Fully disagree. There shouldn't be one "election day." And if we're gonna continue to keep up that nonsense, it certainly shouldn't be a fucking Tuesday. But whatever. I voted early. I encourage everyone to do so in general. But you do you. Whatever gets you out there.
