A transgender woman is a woman. Since gender assigned at birth is implied in the term, the only reason to go out of your way to label her "male" is to be hateful.

Is a transgender woman male or female?

"Trans woman" already contains "genetic male transitioned to female.". The only reason to tag on an extra "male" when telling her you get to decide what she can and can't do is to communicate your disdain for her existence.
