Shits global, baby. Leader of the free world and all that. Putin is certainly paying lots and lots of attention. Wonder how many votes he (vicariously) cast?
The pre-emptive right-wing complaining about "voter fraud" has suddenly stopped. So my guess is lots.

Nah, but the blue team is now puzzling over where all their 2020 voters went

The only thing the blue team is puzzling over is the red team's fetish for being ruled.

This isn’t my first rodeo, mate. I’ve endured America bashing since 2016.

Someone give me a Democratic strategy for fixing that.
Buy guns and protect yourself, don’t give a shit about anyone or anything else
what if you can't buy a gun and you love people?
Seek help or relocate
seek help buying a gun? like a straw purchase? got it, thanks!
Seek help in being overly empathetic or concerned. The time to become more selfish, insular and concerned with no one but your own self is now. Or move to another county if you have the option.
Damn, Trump’s authoritarianism has you trained already.

I replied: we’ll live, see you tomorrow.
Many of my employees and regulars are upset, and I think I'd draw the line at excusing an absence, but the decent thing to do would be to give people the space to feel how they feel. Why do you feel the urge to lean into multiplying someone's distress?
I also happen to be of the "we'll live" mindset, but I totally get how to read a room.

I think one of my colleagues threw up in his mouth a little today. Earlier in the morning, he had said that he was feeling on the verge of a panic attack. All of a sudden, he convulsed a little and made a really weird chokey sound and then it seemed like he swallowed something. I just said "gesundheit" and turned away
I openly cried today at work (I know, I know, no surprise there) while talking to a customer. It was really sweet and moving (nothing to do with politics), but I know the only reason I reacted the way I did was because the nerves are frayed and emotions are on the surface.
