The Apprentice.

Not good. I did like Stan but his makeup is awful and distracting. A few good moments here and there though.

Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Dark City. I saw this for the first time in maybe 2010 (?) Mayb.e because it bombed, but I didn't remember hearing anything about it when it first came out. Still holds up wonderfully. Not much more to be said about the visuals and set pieces. The plot may not be airtight, but it's always interesting. Great cast too, though I'd rather someone else in Kiefer's role.

This movie broke my brain when it first came out. I watched it once or twice since then but it's been a long time and honestly I'm fuzzy on everything that's going on.
Yeah I'm pretty sure I didn't track enough for it to make total sense, if it even does. I will probably forget more than half of it in a few weeks anyway. I definitely can follow it enough to be intriguing though.

I should probably give that one another go. I recall being underwhelmed back in the day.

Impossible to say. The Towering Inferno jumps to mind - McQueen, Newman and Holden in one movie is pretty nuts.

I believe that was his first role.

I also should have included Faye Dunaway in my original post
