This is what, the 9th or 10th time Mike has played on late night television in 23 years?

Turned it off 5 seconds into the solo? :shake:
Great point. Best point made on this board in quite some time.
Yeah, Mike was awesome. Does this Dierks derp supposedly sing for living?

Why are folks convinced they would debut this on TV when they haven't been confident enough to play at their own shows yet?

Putting my money on Sirens (current single) and Lightning Bolt (next single)...

Conspiracy theory: they're not unconfident to play it, they've just been saving it for the TV debut.

That's plausible, I mean I very much doubt it's a harder song to play than others they've been playing.

I thought the reason they hadn't played it live was because they wanted to play it on tv first....for some reason. If they don't then it makes it weirder they haven't played it live yet.

I wanted them to play it cause it's the only semi-realistic option with baaalllsssss :(

Ah well.

I don't know why they would be saving it. that audience doesn't care.

Because they have to save one song for a TV debut. It sounds good when the TV show host says "They've been saving this one for a TV debut...", at which point everyone who didn't care before pretends to care now.
