Mahomes has no comp in the league. Lamar is having an amazing season. But even if he wins MVP again and then beats KC in the playoffs and goes on to win the SB, there's still no genuine comparison between the two.

We could say Lamar is making a case for being the far and away second best QB in the league. Sure. I'm entertain that.

i guess it's recency bias with this season and last. not that mahomes isn't great, but lamar's athleticism is off the charts. and he's got that flick of the wrist throw that vick used. but yeah mahomes i think overall is still better.

the more i watch this play, the more i think this is the best play ive ever seen. speaking of athleticism lol. not only does he hurdle a dude, he's facing the wrong way and jumps backwards over him. i have no idea how he could have the awareness to do something so crazy.

If we're taking athleticism, Brady isn't close to either Mahomes or Lamar.

Overall... Brady still has the best overall career we've ever seen. And he has the head to head over Mahomes. I'd still take Mahomes, though. I think when his career is over, assuming he stays relatively healthy, it won't really be a contest when it's said and done.

Until Lamar wins a clutch game that matters, he doesn't belong in the conversation. So, I'd say Mahomes is way closer to Brady than Lamar is to Mahomes.

If KC three-peats, I'm not sure he doesn't surpass Brady then and there. And if they go undefeated to do it...?
