Re: Movie: Hannibal
Hannibal drugs Clarice up and makes her talk to the exhumed skeleton of her dead father
Mason Verger's sister rapes him with a cattle prod and stuffs an electric eel down his throat
Lots of wild stuff in the book

One thing I've always found interesting about the Hannibal Lecter character is that his name rhymes with Cannibal.

Re: Movie: Hannibal
Something I do truly love about this movie is the absolutely gorgeous aria "Vide Cor Meum" composed for the film by Patrick Cassidy
Whew. Ridley Scott used it again for Kingdom of Heaven. It's stunning

Maybe this is just my dumb interest in linguistics, but do you still roll your R sounds when speaking English? I think that might influence how you hear them

Re: Movie: Hannibal
The later ones sound like "Dr. Lecta" but it sounds like she's kinda breathless and panicky rather than an accent thing. The last one is more of a hard R.

Do they ever address whether or not the Lambs stopped screaming in any of the sequels?

Re: Movie: Hannibal
I definitely hear Lecter, but I can see how a West Virginia accent makes it sound like “Lectuh” because of the way some southern us accents get lazy about pronouncing the last consonant of words.VinylGuy wrote:man, RM was bored today i guess
