Glad to hear it but poor version (from where I was at least).

But Daughter, RVM and Animal were excellent.

A few random thoughts:

- Ed talked a lot, too many fan requests with lengthy backstories.
- I really dislike the It’s OK tag on Daughter and I’ve now had it two shows in a row, more than ten years apart (and both because of a fan request).
- Matt kicking into the Last Exit drum intro after Better Man was absolutely electric, would’ve been even better had Ed not immediately fumbled the opening lines.
- I think Light Years (which I thought sounded fine) is the first Binaural song this leg?
- Matt wore a shirt from the Taylor Hawkins tribute show throughout.
- Almost certain Porch was tuned down.
- Stone played a Castedosa on Won’t Tell I haven’t seen him play before (both Josh and Jeff seem to own a few)
- Ed only played guitar on certain parts of RVM (the intro, a bit during the jam and during the outro)
- Setting Sun into Animal into Once was an incredible run.

Was absolutely great hanging with a few of you before the show.

Haven't had much time to process but that was a stellar show.
Still very light on for songs from the 2000-2020 albums. Kinda understandable but there is some gold in there.

Fantastic hearing Waiting for Stevie, Setting Sun and Won't Tell.
Again I think all the Dark Matter songs have been excellent live.
I saw Setting Sun written on a sheet of paper when the camera panned around the stage. Wasn't the setlist. Very pleased it got played this time.

Completely disagree with that Bird fellow on here. It's OK is a fucking great tag. Did the crowd do it's simple job to pull it off? Sadly not really.
Agree with pretty much everything else he said though. I quite liked Light Years. Sounded good.

I was off to the side on Stone's side but near the rail. Right where Eddie gave the second kid on the Dad's shoulders a tambourine.
I didn't mind that but I wish he would stop encouraging the stupid crap people do, particularly signs.
A lady actually grabbed the Tambourine while it was in the kid's hands and the kid hung on pretty well and the lady let go. Some people really are just shits. Quite a few drunk and stoned spanners where I was to start but in the end it was a good crowd. Thankfully some people move on and others run out of steam.

Again the band brought the crowd home strong. RITFW clearly went off, despite many of us wanting something else.
If tonight showed anything it's that the band shouldn't start with Betterman, should have gone Last Exit or Animal. Honestly the crowd reaction to both of those was bigger than betterman. Maybe straight out of the gates is a little early for that sing along.
I've always liked it when the come out strong with a heavy number, then ebb and flow a bit.
Having said that always up for Release as an opener.

Look I've let myself go a little sure, but calling us fat is a bit rough.
Wtob is still fit and trim. Higgs will tell you he is a good looking rooster I've found.
It was a great catchup with some and nice to meet some others. Never been sure on this meeting your heroes but turns out Higgs is a nice guy.
Clint72 is a dodgy character though.

For some reason I look unhappy to be there. Trying super hard not to blink haha

But it was a great chat and catch up. Last time we let Higgs choose a venue though.
I can't believe that WtOB wasn't asked for ID. Fucker looks 17 with the rest of us sitting there.
Makes me think of a few other people that have come and gone over the years from the boards I should have made an effort to stay in touch with or meet up with.
But I am sure once this tour is over I'll disappear into the ether and reappear next tour.

One of the weirder things that has crept in to PJ shows is the "me me me" cardboard sign bullshit.
