Just read that there’s a planned rail strike from 10pm Thursday. Buses replacing all trains.
Fuck that. Glad I’ve got a carpark sorted already.

What’s the deal with Ten Club tickets and proof of membership? How does it work if 1 person is a member but there was a second ticket bought for others who aren’t members?

I noticed our 2 x 10C GC tix were listed as "GA5" whilst the non-10C GC tix were all "GA6". Apparently they can tell when you scan in.LetMeSleep wrote:What’s the deal with Ten Club tickets and proof of membership? Yeah, there's no need to prove you're a member - 10C tickets are sold in pairs anyway so only one person needs to be. Plus as Higgs says it's all in the scanHiggs wrote:I noticed our 2 x 10C GC tix were listed as "GA5" whilst the non-10C GC tix were all "GA6". Fucking Sydney and it's fucking rail network. It's going to be chaos after the show if they don't come to an agreement toot-sweet. At least start the strike a couple of hours later FFS.

Btw, with all these requests on the pit getting posted and played, I figured I'd try my luck with this

**Request from MIKE McCREADY: The Angels - No Secrets**
Remember in the Apple Music interview back in April, Zane Lowe asked each band member what they'd love to play this tour?
Matt said 'Leatherman' - played first show in Vancouver.
Stone said 'Can't Keep' - played in Baltimore.
Jeff said 'Down By The River' (Neil Young) - very unlikely without Neil joining them.
Ed said 'Felicity's Surprise' (Wellwater Conspiracy) - while this would be amazing, even more unlikely.
Mike said 'No Secrets' (The Angels) and that it would "be in Australia". I think PJ could do a great version of this (it would certainly suit Ed's voice) so fingers crossed.
Even more incredible would be if they covered 'Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again' - a Sydney audience would eat it up! Imagine a 60,000 strong crowd of PJ fans singing the call and response

Maybe it'll remind them to play Can't Keep and Leatherman too.

The dates all end with "th". I lived in Oz for a few years, never recalled that being a thing. Way to go, Ten Club Intern.greendisease wrote:

Merch line is crazy. No way I am doing that for a poster.
Security guard told me 10 club lineup started at 8am.
Fucking nutjobs.
Looking forward to this one. I do think Saturday night will be the pick of the shows. No early entry for fan club is always a good thing.
