Re: 2024-11-21: Sydney, Australia
Got a nice little intro from Ed for the Cosmic Psychos. Said best band you will see tonight.
Not really my scene these guys but
Fuck wit city has to be a song about Sydney.
Riding the rail stones side just to outside edge of big screen. Trying to make it so my vertically challenged wife can actually see.
Nice moment last song of set. Ed came out and held Ross Knights beer so he could skull it while playing bass. Only a good mate would do that.
Not sure if I’ll do a setlist update or not. Someone else may I’m sure. Worse case it’ll be when I get back to hotel. Better than having to put glasses on and off all the time.

Excellent show. Had the feeling of a big crowd but don't know the number.
The band clearly enjoyed themselves again tonight.
Set highlights:
Release as an opener - stellar.
Nothingman
Really enjoyed Waiting for Stevie again.
Faithful
Great rendition of Lukin.
Indifference - certainly not the best version of it but great to hear again.
Top of the list though was a fucking stellar version of Sonic Reducer.
As much as the It's OK tag is a great tag the Aussie crowds again couldn't manage to get the It's OK part quite right. Maybe it'll sound better on the boots than it does in the crowd.
Overall a pretty similar set to the other 3 but again the crowd reactions and interaction with Alive, RITFW, Black and DTE means they wouldn't be in a rush to change.
Again really enjoyed the 5 Dark Matter songs we got. A couple aren't my favourites but again the crowd response is good.
Same crap as other nights with so many dickheads with huge signs. No doubt with Eddie interacting it will get worse. Imagine holding a sign up asking for Black? They are odds on to play it. Another request was apparently Given to Fly.
Only issue was again ran out of posters before the show. But what can you do.

Daughter into Come Back has to be one of the worst transitions ever. God, Come Back just kills any kind of energy they have going to that point.
