Fucking DUH! Don't need to be condescended by some ridiculous meta analysis of lyrics to realise Eddie is agnostic, not an atheist, I think that's pretty obvious. But I don't know, not to sound arrogant but I don't really think Eddie has portrayed enough critical thinking to really commit to any form of religion or atheism when he speaks about science and religion. The album is 100% religious. Some here aren't religious and want to pretend it's not. But, it's ridiculously clear it is. Ed's clearly turned back to belief of some sort, that's for sure. That's what the album's all about.

MYM obviously takes one stab at organized religion (and a very specific hypocrisy at that) but the rest of the song seems pretty ambiguous as are most of the references in the remainder of the album. Ed has certainly alluded to religion/afterlife/God topics before but always in a way that's searching. Sometimes the idea of a God seems insane but sometimes the idea of no higher purpose or power seems even crazier.
