1 Mando
2 Book Of Boba Fett
3 Ahsoka
4 Andor
5 Obi-Wan
6 Clone Wars
7 Rebels
8 tales of the Jedi/empire
9 The Acolyte
10 Bad batch
11 visions
12 Resistance

Best Episodes
1 Mando S2 finale - The rescue
2 Ahsoka - E5- Shadow Warrior
3 Book of Boba -E6 - From the desert comes a stranger
4 Obi-Wan finale
5 Andor -E10 - One Way Out

Every live action show has been top tier for me outside of The Acolyte.

And I’ve only recently become a rebels fan due to readiness for Ahsoka.

Ahsoka would of been second but I hated the finale

If we break up the shows into their respective seasons my list is very different. But that seems like a dumb exercise since most of the live action shows have just had one season.

My uncle (BIG Star Wars guy) said it’s his favorite SW thing ever. And he goes all the way back To ‘77. Before, actually. He would read blurbs and stuff about the original movie and was actually waiting for it to come out. He’s the one that finally convinced me to watch it.

Nothing came close to be as fun to watch and Mandalorian, Season 1. Disney+ was brand new. We had no idea what was going to happen. We were glued to the couch every week to see what was going to happen.

The final 4 episodes of Clone Wars, Season 7 came closer than anything else.

Ahsoka, Andor, those are good TV, but nowhere the level of fun and excitement.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

yeah, true. I also had that feeling during the Luke ep of Mando S2 and a few moments of Obi Wan.

Andor and the first two seasons of Mandalorian are the only two live-action series that I'd consider essential.

I think that's probably true for a lot of fans. That wasn't my experience. I still think Mando S1 is the worst season of the show. Solid C+

You could erase all of Star Wars TV except Ahsoka and I'd be fine with it. And that's not to diss Andor, which is excellent. But certainly unessential.

It's ok to admit Ahsoka wasn't very good.

We'll, sure. If you feel that way. Obviously, I disagree.

But you weren't talking about good, you were talking about essential.

Andor, though brilliant, isn't essential. It doesn't move the ball at all. Take it away and Star Wars is literally the same. Ahsoka, has expanded the galaxy and the story.

Essential for the cultural zeitgeist and overall quality, not for their contribution to the SW story at large.

That being said, I watched the entire Ahsoka series and discussed it here but I can't remember more than 2-3 story elements from it.

They are the three best seasons of live action Star Wars. The other series and Mando s3, all had moments, episodes or excellent performances, but were too uneven to match the top three.

Hope Andor s2 fits into that same category, and can fully challenge Mando for the top spot.

Ah.

Different takes on the word essential. Thanks for clarifying.

To your cultural zeitgeist point, I'd only remind the chat that Ahsoka's numbers were higher than Andor's. And while Ahsoka's dropped toward the end, the finale numbers were still higher than any episode of Andor. At least according to the numbers I saw reported forever ago. Though, streaming numbers are hard to know for sure. Certainly, Andor was a bigger critical darling.

Since you didn't like it that much and don't remember it, I should stop shilling and just admit that I couldn't possibly have liked it that much either. You got me! Ahsoka totally sucks!

Could you guys break up your rankings into groups like "I love these" "these are okay" "these are bad"?
