Weaver was 29/30 when Alien was released. Biehn was 29/30 when Aliens was released. Cailee Spaeny is 26. Not sure about this critique.

main problem was the fan service. Its not well done. The movie itself is fun and looks gorgeous. Most of the cast was ok.

Their real-world age has little to do with it, don’t be dense Argo

Why do all of you Romulus lovers not have a problem with the fact that they already did the alien-human baby thing in Resurrection?

LV, is it possible that Cailee Spaeny is a "no name" to you because you only care about old movies? She's so hot right now.

You might need to pick up Civil War on BluRay lmao.

Being “hot right now” is not indicative of someone being interesting to watch, though. If she had brought something memorable to her performance (or, again, had some decent writing to work with) then she could have transcended.

But you guys keep coming back to her. She’s just one of a totally homogenous cast. Everyone is a dull twentysomething. It’s so boring. American movies have become so deeply, profoundly boring.

Oh no, LV's new British thespians only shtick is, in fact, genuine. I was hoping it was a fun lil joke.

Unreal.

Why would I ever want to subject myself to Civil War? I have better things to do
