This is good, albeit a little predictable. Thornton is great, so is Hamm in his limited role. While hot AF, Billy Bob's character's ex-wife is annoying as hell. Hoping by the end of the season there is an attack on an oil field by the cartel and the government sends in the Lioness team with Taylor Sheridan.

I've never felt more connected to a character than his poor attorney/roommate that has to see those two women in bikinis and underwear all of the time. "This is a liability!"

Billy Bob is my favorite Sheridanverse character. Maybe the Yellowstone follow-up will cross over with this.

i think that Mayor of Kingstown is the only Sheridan show that i didnt watched

This show has such a great balance of humor and severity. BBT's character is written so well for his acting style. Lots of similarities with Sheridan's other storylines from the other shows (all soap operas really) but I'm hooked.

I also find it very funny that his "teenage" daughter is played by a woman who's almost 30.
