Similar here. But with that cast, and that production, it should have been better. The script let the rest down.

Is Gladiator II a bad movie, or is it just bad compared to Gladiator? I'm on the fence about seeing it.

I enjoyed it without any qualifiers, but I'm in the minority.

I love Gladiator and don't think the sequel did anything to diminish it.

This was fantastic. Not quite as good as All That Jazz, but what is?Liza Minnelli has such an amazing energy - what a great performance.

I'm not sure how it can be much worse than the first one.

Will probably finish the year without having seen a single 2024 movie. But have plenty lined up, and plan to watch them in 2025.

Watched Better Watch Out this morning on my sister's recommendation and hated it. Rapey, incel bullshit and the fucking annoying kid doesn't even get killed at the end (spoiler alert)

It reminded me of Lake Eden - a revenge movie without the revenge. Awful.

Watched Carry On last night. They've been billing it as the new Die Hard. It's no Die Hard, but it was alright.
Also - it knocked me out of Whamageddon

What would you trust women’s opinions on?
Let me tell you, Homer Simpson is cock of nothing!

Great movie. Were you always this into classic-era stuff? I don’t remember you watching this many killer movies back in the day but maybe I’m misremembering

Rewatched the Riddick movies and they all rule. David Twohy is underrated. Young Vin Diesel was really something special; I wish he could recapture the magic he had around 2000.
