Track list is out there, it has at least two other versions
for as many times as we've asked him, tweedy's never acknowledged actually recording the song as they played it live prior to AGIB.
He probably wouldn’t remember.

Left halfway through. I'm off this band and that really made me sad.

Everyone is gushing about three hour shows. Lol. Guess what ? There's a thirty minute set break.

Whatever. Fine.

Unforgivable : spiders is not a lazy tired acoustic boring country twang song that drifts aimlessly

God. Sorry everybody. I know some love current Wilco but this band is tired and bored. No reason for three guitarists. The music lacks any and all tension or release so when nels does his...thing....it's just fucking weird and flat. He just makes a ton of noise while the band quietly strums behind. Nothing is earned.

Really bad. This hurts me too. I was really hoping the live show would still kill but it ain't for me.

Yikes. I guess this must be what a majority of RM feels about Pearl Jam.
I sorta get this. It happened to me years ago at a Wilco show, but I’ve then seen them a couple times since and it was much more enjoyable.

We’re not always in the right headspace for certain bands, so don’t discount this as a one off. Next time they come around, maybe decide to give it another chance. You may be surprised.

Or don’t, just my two cents.

I think these two posts are related. Wilco has become a de-fanged shadow of what they used to be in terms of energy (I whole-heartedly agree with Strat. It's like they're an animorph stuck somewhere between A Ghost Is Born-era Wilco and The Autumn Defense). An old guy could play a million songs if they have 10% of their original energy.

i've been seeing them since the lounge ax days in the late 90's, and i can never recall them playing with the "original energy" that you're describing that they somehow lost. tweedy literally makes a joke on kicking television about getting "this party started ... with some mid-tempo rock."

Wilco's music has always had this underlying anxiety or tension. Always bubbling under the surface.

Its completely lacking these days and while tweedy has always sounded....quiet/tired...its his thing...and their music has always been mid tempo (which i loved) for me, it has lost all of the excitement and exploration. now its just feels like the band is quietly working their way bored through the song before Nels just starts making a bunch of noise. It never feels earned and it makes me sad.

but hey, some people love them still. That's cool.

strat, it just sounds like you're growing out of them and moving on. that's totally ok. all of us that feel that way about pearl jam would be hypocrites to judge or criticize you for that.

Certainly. And, a band that has been around for so long is bound to lose/gain new fans/split an audience. We're all lucky for it.

Heard a rumor that Nels may be calling it quits soon, though. He's pushing 70.

I feel similarly when it comes to Tweedy's solo recordings, which have always left me pretty cold, but Wilco's back catalog has consistently become a group of albums that pretty much define "grower" for me, slowly working over time until they land hard. I don't think I'd put any of them up with YHF/Ghost is Born, which remains an all-time one-two punch, but they are still satisfying to me. The main one that's overlooked IMO is Ode To Joy; you have to meet it on its wavelength for it to hit, but I think it's an awfully strong album.

This is good news if it means he gets back to more regularly making his own records.
