Speaking of, last year I was looking for the book Blood Meridian was inspired by but it wasn't in print. Now it is!

I'll probably thumb through it. Might read it if it's interesting. It's a lot thicker than I thought it would be.

This turned out to be pretty great, even though the Glanton gang doesn't show up until the last thirty pages or so, and he quit writing soon after. The writer's voice is great.

Most of it is about the Mexican-American War (or mostly the guerrilla/terrorist war behind the front lines.)

Life sure did suck back then!

- a Mariana Enriquez novel
- beastie boys book

In finishing Heat 2 and I’ll try to follow with Enriquez and Salem’s lot
